old dog
im sure you are all aware of the saying you cant teach an old dog new tricks - i often pondered the age of said dog to establish when in life we can stop learning. Obviously the intellect of a dog is kind of a moot point as i have known some pretty smart and some pretty dumb dogs…
Anyhow - what im getting at is that i am trying something different that i havent really done before and being that i like to get things right the first time i am forced to weigh up my sucess rate with the skill level - which at the moment is quite low… do i press on?? or take the old dog option??
in other news - the bin lid was frozen this morning and the grass is getting “crunchy”
I like crunchy grass
Spin it around. We’re old when we stop learning new things. Keep learning and it keeps you young. Seriously. It stops you going senile. You won’t be senile for a while yet.
Oh yes, and we learn most when we are outside our comfort zone. If you feel like you know what you are doing, then you’re not pushing yourself enough. I should go to bed; I don’t know whether that was encouraging or threatening.
Mmm crunchy.
