11 Days until our boxes get picked up for shipping
18 Days until we both finish work
19 Days until we need to be moved out of the house
21 Days till we go to Wellington
24 Days till Christmas
30 Days till New Years in Gisborne
43 Days till we arrive back in Sydney.
Our list of things to do/pack/sell/disconnect/move/ship has become increasingly longer in the last few months and we (I) am beginning to wish i had some sort of magical device so i could know it was all going to turn out ok.

today was time for us at Eliot SInclair to say goodbye to one of our favourite faces as he heads of to Auckland for some training and untimately a perfect job placement somewhre in New Zealand.
i cried when i got my few minutes alone with him and as he sat on my foot i wished him all the best for his travels.
i hope Diesels new family love him as much as the one that he is leaving here - and that he will make a blind person very very happy.…

As of about two and a half hours ago I am now a licensed driver in New Zealand. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
i LOVE that daylight savings has fully kicked in now - its nice to get up and go to work in the daylight and come home and cook dinner in the daylight, seems an eternity ago that the ‘day’ was only 8-9 hours and now its pushing 14-15 hours. Even so, theres so much to do, and so little time to do it in…
It turns out the above title is NOT an apt description for jackson. He arrived home the other night with a limp and wouldn’t let either of us near enough to his foot to take a look. We could tell there was a gash of some description on his foot, but couldn’t tell much more.
He was still limping and feeling sorry for himself when we got up the next morning, so we took him to the vet last night to be looked out.
It’s fair and show season in Canterbury at the moment. Schools and Churches run fetes, and the A&P shows start popping up. The A&P Association (I think it stands for agriculture and produce) runs regional shows much like smaller version of The Royal Easter Show where farmers show their livestock, and there are a few stalls, rides for the kids and more.
