Last saturday we had some plans fall through slightly… Concidentally it was 7-Eleven day - when by uttering the phrase “Happy 7-Eleven day” at any store you could get a free Slurpee.

We had a few things to do, so we printed out a map of 7-Elevens on our route and decided to see how many free Slurpees we could get.

We started out early at the Sutherland store, and worked our way through Cronulla, Caringbah, Taren Point, Rockdale, Wolli Creek, Burwood, Croydon, Campsie, Lakemba, Penshurst and Narwee. There were a few on the map that didn’t exist, and we were turned away from Strathfield.

Two stores had run out of the promotional cups, but graciously let us use our own from our growing collection. At the end of the day we had consumed 12 Slurpees and were feeling in dire need of a tooth brush. It was all worht it though - quite a fun day out.
