Game 3. France. 1.20am.

After a day of constant sugar-ing (jord will tell you about that)  we managed to finally get into be about 11pm. at 1.15am we were up and in the loungeroom to watch possibly one of the best/worst games of league i have seen since the early rounds of the NRL season. Errors abounded and by the time the half time siren sounded - i questioned (again) why we would get up in the middle of the night to watch.…

and then it happened - they all started to play as a team and the tries just kep on coming - ending with a 42-4 scoreline that was plumped out nicely by twp tries a piece to brett and josh morris who were awesome to watch playing side by side.

an unexpected joy for me to see greenshields still sporting his vampire widows peak haircut - making me miss seeing it each week starting for st george.

highlight of the game would have to have been watching the morris boys race to capitalise on a kick by lockyer - making you wonder how competitve life is as an identical twin.

Culinary Journey

As there are so many varied food items we miss while living in NZ, we made a little bit of an effort while we were home to enjoy all of the things that we haven’t been able to have in a while.

From the simple snack to dinner out – we enjoyed and indulged ourselves a little. I will write what we had but please remember we were in Sydney for 2 weeks so it sounds worse that it actually was.

Donut from Donut King at Hurstville Westfield

Oporto (missed those chips)

Oatley Pie

Happy Chef – wonton noodle soup and laksa

Emperor Custard Puffs from China Town

Ice cream at Cronulla Ice Creamery

Pub Lunch and Australian Beer!

Dinner at Big Johns - Sans Souci

Pauls Hamburgers

Smiths Fish and Chips

Dinner at Hogs Breath – St Marys

Danish from the Penshurst Bakery

Cold Rock at Cronulla

And a bunch of lovely meals at home with family and friends…

Go the Blues!!!!
