Our list of things to do/pack/sell/disconnect/move/ship has become increasingly longer in the last few months and we (I) am beginning to wish i had some sort of magical device so i could know it was all going to turn out ok.

today was time for us at Eliot SInclair to say goodbye to one of our favourite faces as he heads of to Auckland for some training and untimately a perfect job placement somewhre in New Zealand.

im going to go with A LOT - and ive only really been sick for 1 full day.
dont know what it is about the Kiwi weather but the slightest change and BAM! ive got a cold.
im subtly trying to pass it off to my colleagues as i dont want to be sick anymore…

i LOVE that daylight savings has fully kicked in now - its nice to get up and go to work in the daylight and come home and cook dinner in the daylight, seems an eternity ago that the ‘day’ was only 8-9 hours and now its pushing 14-15 hours. Even so, theres so much to [...]

It turns out the above title is NOT an apt description for jackson. He arrived home the other night with a limp and wouldn’t let either of us near enough to his foot to take a look. We could tell there was a gash of some description on his foot, but couldn’t tell much more.

It’s fair and show season in Canterbury at the moment. Schools and Churches run fetes, and the A&P shows start popping up. Last night it snowed on the hills just to the south of the city. We were outside waiting for the fireworks for Guy Fawkes Day when we noticed a spattering of white on the hills. Its supposed to almost be summer. Crazy.
UPDATE: It snowed again this morning. November indeed….
