Out of the Bag
Most of you received this message to find out that Plus One existed.
What you don’t know is how that message came to be written at 7.32am on a Friday morning.
We had originally planned to spend the weekend calling and texting people but technology beat us!!
Jord decided that he had the blog ready to go ‘live’ at 10pm Thursday (after adding the ultrasound post) so switched it over. We went to bed and around 11.30pm I woke with a start thinking that all our friends who subscribed to our blog would get notified as soon as they turned on their computers.
Jord quickly grabbed his laptop and turned the site ‘off’.
We thought all was well until he was walking the dog the following morning. Probably the only time I will be grateful for Pixel’s terrible sleep pattern.
Jord came running in to our room, jumped on the bed and said “something may have gone wrong, all of our blog posts are in my feed”.
So if you were surprised by the timing of the message, that’s why. And frankly, I was going to burst if we didn’t get to share it soon.
I clocked up 15 weeks today. All is well. Looking forward to more updates soon.
I am hoping to post some of your reactions soon. Some of your messages were priceless, and others made us cry.
We are so happy and thankful to have such loving family and friends around us, helping us walk this new path.
